Please support my Ambitious Challenge!

Starting in Manchester and finishing in London, I will be cycling 220 miles in a single day on Sunday 22 June 2025.

I've done quite a few long distance events, but never for charity. So thought maybe I should.

So I'll be helping Rapha founder and fellow Yorkshire man Simon Mottram raise funds for his chosen charity Ambitious about Autism.

Ambitious about Autism is the national charity standing with autisitc children and young people. They champion rights, campaign for change and create opportunities for autistic young people and their families.

My Updates

In preparation for June 22nd

Friday 4th Apr
Scaling up the distance has been hampered due a cold and chest infection.

However on 29th March I completed a Virtual Everesting in Zwift this took 10 1/2 hours.   This should help for the Knock Ventoux 300km event on the 6th April which I schedule in as part of the training.  I'm a bit off where I should be for this event at the moment but as mentioned I've always been able to grind through a long day.

These long rides always have there moment of challenge where suddenly you don't feel good, it's knowing that you can work through this and later feel better it's not that binary.

So this Sunday will be a good test, around 4500m climbing over 300km.
