Please support my Ambitious challenge, raising awareness of non-verbal autistic young people
I’m once again taking part in the Ambitious 220 Your Way challenge. This year, I am keen to raise awareness of autistic children and young people who are non verbal. During the weekend of the 8th/9th July, I will be silent for a consecutive 2hours 20mins, i will purposefully do this during the day. In this time, I will diarize my feelings and challenges, as well as educate myself on other forms of communication autistic young people use.
I'd be grateful if you could sponsor me - £14.50 represents ten minutes of silence - and if I surpass my target of £203, I commit to extending the time length of my challenge.
As some of you may remember, last year I walked the 220 bus route, highlighting facts and sharing internship opportunities in between each bus stop on my home made cardboard bib.
