Why I’m Fundraising

On Sunday, 28 June 2026, I’ll be cycling 220 miles in a single day — from Manchester to London — to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism.

Autistic children and young people, and the families who support them, often face daily challenges accessing the understanding, education, and opportunities they deserve. Ambitious about Autism works to change this by providing specialist support, advocating for inclusion, and helping young people build more independent and fulfilling futures.

I chose this challenge because I wanted to do something meaningful that pushes me personally while supporting a cause that creates real, lasting impact. The miles will be tough, but they are small compared to the challenges many families navigate every day.

Every donation helps provide support, resources, and opportunities for autistic young people across the UK.

If you’re able to contribute, thank you for helping turn this ride into real change.

My Updates

The Journey Begins

Friday 27th Feb

I’m only two weeks into training for the 220-mile ride from Manchester to London, and it already feels very real. Right now, the focus isn’t speed or performance — it’s simply building the fitness, consistency, and resilience needed to make finishing this challenge possible.

Starting this journey has reminded me that big goals don’t begin with big moments. They begin with small, steady efforts: long rides, tired legs, and the decision to keep going even when progress feels slow.

I chose to support Ambitious about Autism because of the important work they do for autistic children and their families, who support them every day. Many families face ongoing challenges accessing understanding, education, and opportunities that many of us take for granted. The charity works to change this by championing inclusion, providing specialist support, and helping young people build more independent and fulfilling futures.

While my challenge is just beginning, the need for support is constant. Every donation helps provide resources, opportunities, and advocacy for autistic young people across the UK.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, or followed the journey so far. Knowing this ride contributes to something meaningful is what will keep me moving forward — one training ride at a time.
