Bethan's Ambitious challenge!

On Sunday 28 June 2026 I’ll be taking on a huge challenge – cycling 220 miles from Manchester to London in a single day – to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism, the national charity standing with autistic children and young people.

I’m lucky enough to be an aunty to two funny, cheeky, caring little boys who are growing up while learning to navigate the world with autism. Seeing their journeys, their strengths, and the challenges they face every day (and those of their parents’) has inspired me to help raise awareness, support, and funds that can make a real difference for families and individuals with autism.

Too often people with autism are unheard, unsupported, or shut out of opportunities. That can change. Every mile and every turn of the pedals helps create a world where autistic children and young people are accepted for who they are and given the chance to realise their ambitions.

This won’t just be a physical test, but a mental one too. Both in training and on the day itself there will be moments where stopping would be easier – but I’m proud to keep spinning for a cause that’s close to my heart.

If you’re able to donate, or even just share this, it would mean the world. Thank you! Bethan x
