I’m taking part in the Rapha Ambitious Manchester to London bike ride. I will be taking on 220 miles in one day on Sunday 23 June and leaving my limits behind to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism.

Ambitious about Autism want to help create a world where autistic children and young people are heard, included and supported.

For people that know me you’ll know my beautiful daughter, Amelia and nephew, Logan both have Autism. I also work as a Specialist Nurse and Non Medical Prescriber working with individuals that have neurodevelopment difficulties such as autism and ADHD, therefore this cause is extremely close to my heart.

Just £20 can contribute towards a family support worker for an autistic young person. This could allow Ambitious about Autism to provide telephone support to a family in crisis on matters such as welfare, health, and legal support.

Good training week

Tuesday 21st May

Got some decent miles and climbing done last week in Mallorca, M2L is fast approaching so need to keep consistent with the training 🚴🏻‍♀️💪🏻

Monday 22nd Apr

Yesterday, 21st April marked 9 weeks to the day of M2L and I spent the day riding a 60 mile charity ride with the club I ride with, Croston Velo, we have currently raised over £2,200 for Rosemere (Cancer charity) 🥳🥳🥳 awesome day and all good training for M2L

10 weeks to go

Monday 15th Apr

So after an unfortunate start to 2024 following being knocked off my bike towards the end of January, I finally had my first decent distance and elevation ride yesterday, Sunday 14th April. 106km and just over 2,600ft.

10 weeks to go, time to step up the training, looking forward to getting some miles in the legs 🚴🏻‍♀️
