In 2026, I am doing three events to help raise money for Ambitous About Autism, the national charity standing with autistic children and young people: 

- Media City Half Marathon on February 14th

- Fred Whitton Challenge (112 miles) on May 10th

- Manchester to London (220 miles) on June 28th


Too often autistic young people are unheard, unsupported, or shut out of opportunities. That can change. Every mile and every turn of the pedals helps create a world where autistic children and young people are accepted for who they are and given the chance to realise their ambitions.

This is more than a ride. This has purpose.

Media City Half

Monday 16th Feb
Yesterday I did my first event of the year raising money for this charity - Media City Half Marathon. 

Ran a 1:24:18 - smashing my initial aim of sub 1:30, and even beating my secondary goal of sub 1:25 which I decided to train for a few weeks ago. 

To achieve this having not ran from May to December due to injury, and with only 6 weeks of proper training, I am absolutely buzzing! 

With this done, we move onto training for the next event, the Fred Whitton Challenge - 116 miles with 3500 m of elevation in the Lake District on May 10th. This will help build endurance eventually leading up to the 220 Miles of Manchester to London. 

12 weeks out and, whilst the legs feel dead today, I have a pretty intense training plan lined up to get in top shape for the bike - cannot wait to get started! 

Thanks everyone for the donations so far - to have raised this much is incredible! Let's keep pushing and get that number as high as possible.

Happy New Year! 

Firstly, thank you all for your donations so far!!

Whilst 2025 was a year of ups, including completing manchester marathon and media city half, it also had its downs; most notably, my crash in the Tour De Manc where I broke my humerus and hand. This led to me being off the bike for 6 months which was very hard. 

2026 however brings new opportunities! I am back on the bike, as well as running, and have three key events lined up for 2026: 
- Media City Half Marathon
- Fred Whitton Challenge (112 miles)
- Manchester to London (220 miles)

All of the above I am doing for ambitous about autism, hoping to raise as much as possible! 

If possible, please donate through this page for an amazing cause that helps children with autism and schools.
