Please support my Ambitious Challenge!

I’m taking part in the Rapha Ambitious Manchester to London bike ride. I will be taking on 220 miles in one day on Sunday 23 June and leaving my limits behind to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism.

Ambitious about Autism want to help create a world where autistic children and young people are heard, included and supported.

Just £20 can contribute towards a family support worker for an autistic young person. This could allow Ambitious about Autism to provide telephone support to a family in crisis on matters such as welfare, health, and legal support.

Please donate to support my challenge. Thank you so much!

My Updates

Back on the bike

Monday 11th Mar
On March 3rd I managed to jump back on a bike for a steady mountain bike ride with my family. It put a joy in my body that I could ride beside them again having not ridden since the end of December. I felt comfortable and know I need to up my time on the bike for June

The M2L briefing at Rapha Clubhouse London

Friday 1st Mar
On Tuesday evening I attended the M2L briefing and heard from Simon about what to expect on the ride and how good the fish and chip stop is on the route. We heard from a parent of a child who has been helped so much by Ambitious about Autism leant to ride a bike.
I also had the chance to meet and speak with a number of the other riders taking part and got a sneak peek at the jersey design.

Yes, I'm off the bike ATM

Monday 26th Feb
After two operations in January the issue and recovery has meant I simply unable to jump on a bike. This means my training and fitness improvement for M2L is taking a  different path for now.
I'm enjoying some fantastic hikes and exploring local footpaths which I can't discover on a bike.
Taking 20 minutes a day following flexibility tutorials for cycling on you tube has offered enjoyable results and relaxation.
