On Sunday 28 June 2026 I will ride 220 miles in a single day from Manchester to London. A test of endurance, a journey that demands everything, and gives back more.

I am taking on the Ambitious 220 Challenge to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism, the national charity standing with autistic children and young people.

Too often autistic young people are unheard, unsupported, or shut out of opportunities. That can change. Every mile and every turn of the pedals helps create a world where autistic children and young people are accepted for who they are and given the chance to realise their ambitions.

This is more than a ride. This has purpose.

Woth the weather improving im spending more and more days out spinning!

Last few weeks cycled a loop to Southport covering just over 140km, and i have been also joining on some group rides with Trek Manchester Store Group covering some decent routes and climbs around north West.

I've also signed up for a 100mile Lincoln GP Sportive in May and also considering signing up for Tour de Manc 100mile route week before the Lincoln ride. 

Starting to feel my fitness improving combined with visits to the gym, yes still have an off days where I really can't be bothered doing anything and occasional nights out but all in all moving in right direction 😁

12 weeks until D-Day!!! 🚲

Week wrap up with a biggie

Sunday 8th Mar
Yesterday went out for my first 100km ride this year. I Joined one of the fellow M2L rides who was cycling from Manchester to Nottingham. Both cycled up to Mam Tor before i turned around back to Manchester and he carried on. Great ride, the weather held up nicely, 105km in the legs, safe to say pizza was involved when I returned 🤣🤣. All in all training is going well, sticking to 4-5 days a week on the bike and 1-2 gym sessions. Another week closer, as always super Grateful for incoming donations and continuing support ❤️ Michal

A little update from me....

Training was due to start this week, however got struck down with flu and chest infection so on road to recovery hoping to feel full strength in the upcoming days and then I push full power 🔥💪🚲
