On Sunday 28 June 2026 I will ride 220 miles in a single day from Manchester to London. A test of endurance, a journey that demands everything, and gives back more.

I am taking on the Ambitious 220 Challenge to raise funds for Ambitious about Autism, the national charity standing with autistic children and young people.

Too often autistic young people are unheard, unsupported, or shut out of opportunities. That can change. Every mile and every turn of the pedals helps create a world where autistic children and young people are accepted for who they are and given the chance to realise their ambitions.

This is more than a ride. This has purpose.

Saturday 13th Jun
so as they say time flies when you’re having fun. With 2 weeks to go i would be lying if i said that im not getting excited!! I haven’t done much cycling in recent days due to the terrible weather conditions but instead i have been spending a lot of time in the gym getting my left leg fixed and stronger to hopefully avoid any issues and injuries on the ride. Yesterday my bike went in for a full whack service hopefully ready in couple of days and with the weather improving ill be able to squeeze in few more km’s in the legs and one or two biog rides in the upcoming weeekend.
Also to say im close to the target is an understatement!!!!! Very close to hitting that magic £1000. Many thanks to everyone and if you haven’t already thrown in few quid, id be mega grateful for the ongoing support.

Lincoln GP Sportive

Thursday 21st May
9th May I completed another Sportive.. This time over in Lincoln doing 165km/100mile route finishing on the Famous Michaelgate climb which was tackled 13 times by the Elite team riders day after for the RoadSeries Race. A lovely sunny day for the ride unfortunately 130kn of that in pain coming from my left knee. Turns out to be ITBS (IT Band Syndrome). So since lincoln very little cycling, concentrating on full rehab. Strengthening exercise to get my legs especially my left leg and knee up to good strength and mobility. Fingers crossed pain free by 28th June 🤞

Tour de Manc - Mad Manc, Completed

Wednesday 6th May
Slightly slow to the page but on Sunday as per plan i cycled the longest distance in my life. 200km Mad Manc Route and Tour de Manc ticked off the list. Although I've come out of it with some knee pain and have been restong this week so far hopefully recover before saturday and 165km Lincoln GP ride 🤞

Saturday 4th Apr
Woth the weather improving im spending more and more days out spinning!

Last few weeks cycled a loop to Southport covering just over 140km, and i have been also joining on some group rides with Trek Manchester Store Group covering some decent routes and climbs around north West.

I've also signed up for a 100mile Lincoln GP Sportive in May and also considering signing up for Tour de Manc 100mile route week before the Lincoln ride. 

Starting to feel my fitness improving combined with visits to the gym, yes still have an off days where I really can't be bothered doing anything and occasional nights out but all in all moving in right direction 😁

12 weeks until D-Day!!! 🚲

Week wrap up with a biggie

Sunday 8th Mar
Yesterday went out for my first 100km ride this year. I Joined one of the fellow M2L rides who was cycling from Manchester to Nottingham. Both cycled up to Mam Tor before i turned around back to Manchester and he carried on. Great ride, the weather held up nicely, 105km in the legs, safe to say pizza was involved when I returned 🤣🤣. All in all training is going well, sticking to 4-5 days a week on the bike and 1-2 gym sessions. Another week closer, as always super Grateful for incoming donations and continuing support ❤️ Michal

A little update from me....

Training was due to start this week, however got struck down with flu and chest infection so on road to recovery hoping to feel full strength in the upcoming days and then I push full power 🔥💪🚲
